I won't say much about my job here; but, I do want to spend a bit of time on it in relation to the COVID-19 pandemic. I am an RN infection preventionist in a large acute care hospital in NE Oklahoma. As such, I and my co-workers provide critical support to our frontline staff in addition to infection surveillance and monitoring of our COVID positive patients. I wanted to just comment a bit about the COVDI-19 vaccine. I received the first dose of the Moderna vaccine last week. YES, I did have some side effects (injection site soreness, headache, general aches and some chills); but all in all, not a bad result thus far. Joe Biden announced that he is going to "free up" the vaccine supply and unless THAT is done right, I find this move very ill-advised. There are 2 doses required with the Pfizer AND Moderna vaccines. Frankly, without a coherent plan to supply BOTH doses, you are asking for a real crap storm. In my view of literature for the vaccines, those already advocati...
