Thoughts on this forum

Recent events prompted me to start attempting to blog and hopefully, will soon lead to a forum FULL of conservative ideas, articles, discussion and fellowship (for lack of a better word available to my mind right now). There has to be a safe space and venue for conservative thought and discussion. I know there are great sites already out there and I wil do my best to highlight them. What "Big Tech" is doing is neither right nor consistent. Whether Twitter or another site, there IS NOT consistency in terms of moderating content, among other things. I took some time off from work this week (doozy of a time to do it, yes?) and it has been spent reading and learning about what happened Wednesday at our nation's capitol AND about the person of Donald Trump. That might sound strange but I really wanted to see what some conservative minds I admire actually think of Trump and their evaluation of his presidency. I should disclose that I did vote for Trump. I am not one who would say I held my nose when I voted BOTH times for him, either. Having said that, I have reflected enough on the past few months to say that I think he handled things absolutely wrong since the first statement he made on election night/early morning November 4. Trump had resources available that were not utilized to truly contest the election. Why? As someone who understands and works with statistics/data every day, I believe there is no question that a Biden win was statitically impossible. I will go into that on another post; but suffice it to say that data tells a story. Whether good or bad data, it tells a story and has consequences. Just like actions, right? Trump's post-election actions have me bamboozled. Election integrity matters and I will never be convinced that this election was "free of fraud" nor "fair". That said, Trump damaged his legacy with what happened Wednesday and THAT whole impact has yet to be determined. Media needs to be objective in its' reporting and law enforcemnt transparent in its' investigation. I know,....I am expecting an awful lot from 2 entities with less than stellar track records.
